What will be your daily pursuit?

We are seeking an Email Marketing and Automation Specialist with a strong marketing background and experience in email marketing and automation using the Braze ESP platform. As the Email Marketing and Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for the development and deployment of all email marketing collateral, including email strategy, design, audience segmentation, scheduling, and reporting. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering successful email campaigns and optimizing customer engagement.

What will your compensation be?

$50,000 - $60,000 CAD

 

Please note this role can be based from our Calgary, Banff or Canmore Offices

What will you do in this job?

  • Manage all aspects of our nurture sequence email program, including confirmation emails, pre-stay, in-market, and post-visit emails.
  • Design and build visually appealing email templates with supporting graphics, either provided or independently created.
  • Strategize and develop effective email marketing campaigns for various target audiences.
  • Collaborate with copy and design teams to execute creative campaigns and offers.
  • Analyze email metrics to improve conversions, delivery rates, and plan future strategies.
  • Leverage email and marketing automation platforms capabilities to segment audiences, create automation workflows, conduct A/B testing, and generate reports.

 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Expertise in utilizing email marketing platforms, including campaign creation, audience segmentation, automation workflows, A/B testing, and reporting.
  • Proven experience in marketing automation, designing and implementing automated email campaigns, and setting up customer journeys within the Braze (or other ESP) platform.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting, using email metrics to optimize campaign performance and drive better engagement.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and conducting tests to improve email subject lines, copy, design elements, and calls-to-action.
  • Understanding of email deliverability best practices, including list hygiene, email authentication, and reputation management.
  • Experience integrating email campaigns with CRM systems, such as Salesforce or HubSpot, to ensure personalized communications and data synchronization.
  • Strong copywriting skills to craft compelling email content aligned with the brand voice would be considered an asset.
  • Must-have: A passion for continuous learning, staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in email marketing and automation.

 

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

Ideal Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equal industry experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in email marketing and/or content marketing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator.
  • Experience in HTML for customizing email templates and troubleshooting code-related issues.
  • Experience working with an email service provider platform, bonus points for Braze.
  • Strong understanding of privacy laws, including CASL, GDPR, etc.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and creative individual.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Must possess valid Passport and Driver’s License
