What will be your daily pursuit?

What will your compensation be?

The wage for this role is $20.50/hour.

When does this adventure begin?

This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2025. Preference will be given to candidates who are available for a contract from April 28-October 18.

What will you do in this job?

  • Be prepared for a fast-paced work environment with changing conditions 
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and good communication skills 
  • Ensure that a high level of customer service is given to each guest 
  • Deliver high-standard interpretive commentary on board each tour 
  • Safely operate tour boats, in accordance with Transport Canada regulations Master Limited <60 Ton (all training provided and paid for) 
  • Participate in the global effort to keep all areas of Minnewanka clean and wildlife safe 
  • Conduct interpretive tour evaluations throughout the season, ensuring guests are receiving accurate information in a professional manner 
  • Lead interpretive training and provide constructive feedback throughout the season
  • Effective handling of complaints and disputes while adhering to and setting the example of hospitality standards

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  • High attention to detail and good communication skills 
  • Comfort and experience in providing feedback in a constructive manner to improve employee performance and engagement 
  • Ability to multitask in fast paced environments 
  • Ability to think calmly and clearly in any situation 
  • Be a self-starter and have a passion for motivating others 
  • Desire and passion to lead a team by example and set standards for hospitality 
  • Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to effectively influence, and encourage others as well as creating an environment of mutual trust and respect 
  • Be solution oriented and strive to effectively solve problems in a timely manner 
  • Strong customer service skills 
  • Public speaking skills 
  • Mechanically inclined 
  • Second language an asset 
  • Cash handling experience
