What will your compensation be?

The starting salary for this position is $19.50 / hour + $1.00 / hour for every regular hour worked. 

When does this adventure begin?

This role begins May 12 and runs until October 17, 2025

What will you do in this job?

  • Provide direction, leadership and daily support to the guest services team, ensuring that team members deliver a positive and memorable hospitality experience
  • Coordinate and participate in the daily running of the guest services operation, in both the ticket office and boathouse in addition to scheduling, recognition and performance management duties
  • Assist guests by providing information on Maligne Lake and Pursuit services and amenities, and by promoting and selling our related products and services
  • Guest supervisor duties also include covering dispatching duties: operational communications/responding to and adapting to emergencies and equipment failures and coordination of the daily tour schedule.
  • Implement and deliver the standard operating policies and procedures as they relate to the guest services operations, safety and employee engagement standards and practices
  • Recognize and identify business needs and adjust frontline sales strategies
  • Responsible for daily cash handling practices and safeguards, including proper use of POS stations, cash floats, cash outs
  • Assisting dispatch with effective tour inventory management to maximize visitation and/or operational efficiency

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  • Previous supervisory, point of sale, cash handling experience
  • A strong hospitality-focused approach with a natural ability to proactively listen and empathize with guests
  • A passion for coaching and developing employees
  • Mature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated team player with a high attention to detail
  • A calm personality, comfortable working and making decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Fluent and articulate in English, ability to communicate and comprehend over two-way radio required
  • Experience using RTP POS Software, an asset
  • Class 5 driver’s license (clean abstract) an asset
  • Must meet the organization's grooming and appearance standards
