Pursuit is seeking a passionate and experienced hotelier to lead lodging operations across Banff and Waterton. This is a career advancing opportunity to transform three landmark hotels into best-in-class hospitality experiences.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, Banff, this role oversees the strategic direction, financial performance, and operational excellence of our current, and future, hotels in the Banff Area (defined as south of Columbia Icefields). With a deep understanding of hotels, food & beverage, and guest service excellence, this role is responsible for leading Rooms, Housekeeping, Facilities, Food & Beverage, Hotel Accounting, and Programming. Additionally, this role will benefit from collaborating with Pursuit’s support services in Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Finance, People & Culture, Health & Safety, Hospitality Excellence, Food & Beverage, Retail, Programming, Sustainability, and IT.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee hotel operations, ensuring seamless integration and execution across all departments.
Create best-in-class experiences across hotels, dining, and competitive standalone.
Inspire hospitality excellence: know it and motivate the team to achieve it.
Plan each touchpoint in the guest journey to be thoughtful, personalized, and memorable.
Create innovative guest experience strategies that align with vision, brand, and business objectives.
Design physical assets and facilities to support high-quality guest experiences and drive growth.
Advance and implement hospitality and operating standards.
Optimize resources, drive revenue streams, and create operational efficiency.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management, reporting key insights and opportunities.
Train, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team with a growth mindset.
Establish clear goals and expectations, ensuring accountability across departments.
Drive an exceptional workplace culture that is driven to go beyond, delighting our guests, partners and each other.
Collaborate with People & Culture to drive employee engagement, recruitment, and retention strategies.
Build strong relationships with commercial tenants, partners, and key stakeholders.
Champion the relentless pursuit of excellence across all KPI’s.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities, guest experiences, and employee engagement and lead continuous enhancements.
Oversee safety protocols, risk management, and emergency response preparedness.
Champion sustainability and community-focused initiatives aligned with Pursuit’s values.

Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or similar strongly preferred
