What will be your daily pursuit?

This role is essential for maintaining data integrity in our HRIS and ensuring seamless data flow between HR operations and payroll. The ideal candidate will have experience with ADP software or similar HRIS and a keen ability to adapt to the fast-paced dynamic environment. 

What will your compensation be?

$19.00/hour - $26.00/hour dependent on experience and location. 

When does this adventure begin?

This role can be based out of Calgary, Banff, Anchorage, Columbia Falls or Denver. This is a 12 month contract role, with the possibility of an extension.

What will you do in this job?

  • Administer and maintain the HRIS database in ADP Workforce Now, ensuring data accuracy and completeness for all employee records.
  • Coordinate the entry, updating, and management of employee data, including new hires, terminations, promotions, pay changes, and other HR-related transactions.
  • Escalate any technical errors to the HRIS Senior Specialist and HRIS Analyst and assist with any integration corrections.
  • Perform routine audits of HR data and correct any discrepancies as needed.
  • Ensure HRIS processes comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations related to payroll, employee data privacy, and labor laws.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for audits and reporting purposes.
  • Act as point person for HRIS in the shared inbox.
  • Respond to basic access and user questions from manager and team members.
  • Ensure accuracy in all employee transactions; onboarding, offboarding, transfers, promotions and adjustments.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Ideal Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in HRIS, payroll, or HR administration, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now (or similar HRIS system) is required.
  • Familiarity with hospitality-specific HR needs, such as variable work schedules, shift-based pay, and hospitality union rules, is a plus.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • High degree of confidentiality and discretion
