• Pursuit is seeking an inspiring and experienced General Manager to lead the Banff Gondola, one of Canada’s most iconic attractions. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, Banff, this role is responsible for vision, strategy, and execution, ensuring hospitality excellence and authentic guest experiences. This is a career-defining opportunity to elevate the Banff Gondola as a world-class attraction.  

   

  Set in Banff National Park, the Banff Gondola is a year-round attraction, offering diverse hospitality operations, including five best in class dining outlets, world-class events, an interpretive center, retail stores, high-tech photo experiences, guest services, and lift and building operations. The General Manager will oversee these areas, leading a passionate team while collaborating with Pursuit’s support services in Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Finance, People & Culture, Health & Safety, Hospitality Excellence, Food & Beverage, Retail, Programming, Sustainability, and IT

• Foster strong relationships with suppliers, inspectors, government regulatory bodies, local organizations, and pursuit teams.
• Become a model operator in national parks.

• 10+ years in senior leadership roles within attractions, tourism, or hospitality industries.
• Experience managing large, multi-faceted operations, including F&B, retail, events, and infrastructure.
• Strong background in hospitality excellence, team development, guest experience transformation, and business growth.
• Expertise in budgeting, P&L management, and capital planning and execution.
• Familiarity with regulated environments such as national parks, ski resorts, or government agencies.
