What will be your daily pursuit?

Your daily pursuit is supporting a seamless, safe, and enjoyable experience at Jasper Skytram through the upkeep & maintenance of our attraction. 

What will your compensation be?

The starting salary for this position is $21.00 per hour

When does this adventure begin?

This is a full-time, year round role with an immediate start date.

What will you do in this job?

  • The Jasper Skytram is a 7 day a week operation, days off may vary. As well as the shifts will consist of both morning
    and evening shifts.
  • Contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the Jasper Skytram, while maintaining the highest standard
    of quality
  • Performing daily Lift & Building Maintenance checks as assigned
  • Maintain the upkeep of all buildings, grounds and lift terminals including snow shoveling and operation
    of snow clearing equipment
  • Complete general repairs and assist Supervisors and Managers with major repairs
  • Encourage and participate in safe work practices
  • Assist on the lift as required
  • Frequent interaction with coworkers, management and guests
  • Providing visitors a high-quality experience and ensuring a high level of customer service is given to each
    guest
  • Report to the Mountain Manager and complete all projects and tasks as assigned

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  • Prior maintenance experience an asset
  • Previous trade experience an asset(Basic Carpentry, plumbing or Mechanical)
  • Current Alberta Driver's License
  • Self-starter who is able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • Able to speak, read, write and understand English
  • Proven ability to work within strict policy/procedures and guidelines
  • Lift operations experience an asset
  • Leadership qualities
  • Ability to take direction under stressful conditions
  • First Aid training an asset
  • Able to lift up to 20lbs (frequently) up to 100lbs (occasionally)
