The Director of Hospitality at the Columbia Icefield (CIF) is the face of our hospitality operations, overseeing the 32-room Glacier View Lodge, two distinct restaurant concepts, a Starbucks, and a high-volume retail gift shop. This key leadership role is directly responsible for the performance and development of the leaders managing each of these areas.
As a core member of the CIF leadership team, the Director of Hospitality acts as a conduit for communication and collaboration across all departments—working collectively to drive operational excellence. This role plays a vital part in cultivating a meaningful and inclusive culture, with a continuous focus on creating unforgettable and inspiring experiences for both guests and team members.
This list describes a lot of what a Director of Hospitality does, but no job description can anticipate every single issue or project that could come up. Pursuit and the Banff Jasper Collection might need to reduce, add or change job tasks from time to time.
