What will be your daily pursuit?

Organized individual with the ability to keep track of all inventory, executing manual product receiving, storing and redistribution, accurate database entries, and with the strong communication skills. The applicant must be willing to lead and/or participate the year end physical inventory counts at all retail locations (including the multiple overnight stays).

What will your compensation be?

The starting wage for this position is $22.00 to $24.00 per hour depending on experience.

What will you do in this job?

Retail Inventory Specialist plays a key role in the success of the Retail team while reporting directly to Retail Inventory Manager. Responsibilities include:

  • Receive inventory
  • Spot-check received product, material and equipment for any variances and damages
  • Load and drive cube van
  • Operate forklift
  • Execute product and supplies redistribution to all Geo/operations
  • Maintain clean and organized Warehouse including the outside areas and walkways
  • Follow all Retail Inventory SOPs
  • Execute accurate database data entry in timely fashion
  • Adhere to Health and Safety measures in place
  • Communicate any challenges, issues and suggest improvements
  • Travel to other Geos, including the overnight stays according to business needs
  • Be available to participate in year-end physical inventory counts at remote locations (Jasper, Golden, Waterton)

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract record issued by the Province of Alberta
  • Repetitive heavy-lifting up to 50lbs
  • Excellent communications skills verbally, via phone, Teams and e-mail
  • Previous database experience – 1 year minimum
  • Previous inventory experience an asset
  • Attention to detail and adherence to schedule
  • Forklift operator certification an asset
  • MS Office experience an asset
